In honor of Roger Kahn for his work in aviation and entertainment, the Institute of the Aeronautical Sciences will be awarding four $10,000 scholarships to high school seniors who will enroll in an engineering major to pursue a career in aerospace. The scholarship includes a trip to the AIAA Awards Gala and a mentor in AIAA to help guide the student to achieve a career in aerospace. In order to be eligible, members should have a minimum high school GPA of 3.5 and have demonstrated interest in aerospace through extracurricular activities. In order to apply, you need to submit a transcript, a one page statement that describes STEM related studies or extracurricular activities, an application form, and a letter of recommendation from a STEM educator/mentor.

JRF Scholars receive college scholarships of up to $35,000 over four years and are sponsored to attend JRF’s annual, four-day “Mentoring and Leadership Conference” in New York City. Scholars also benefit from a comprehensive program that includes career guidance, internship and job placement, travel abroad, and leadership and practical life skills training.

The Italian Catholic Federation Scholarship sponsored by the Italian Catholic Federation is rewarding students who are Roman Catholic and are either of Italian Descent or who have parents, guardians, or grandparents as members of the Italian Catholic Federation. First year scholarships in the amount of $500 will be awarded to approximately 130 applicants. First year scholarship winners are eligible for second, third, and fourth year awards of $600, $700, and $1,000 respectively.

10- $7,500 Scholarships available (per year for 4 years for High School Seniors planning to attend a University/College in fall 2025. The TASF is focused on helping economically-challenged Taiwanese American students.

The La Cañada Teachers Association offers scholarships to seniors in eight different categories. All information as well as the application itself can be found in the LCTA Scholarship Google Classroom.

There are several scholarship possibilities, each tailored to reflect the donor’s personal interests, whether targeted to specific ethnicities, career paths, or backgrounds. Amounts range from $1,000 to $20,000.
